Born and raised on the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada, Lynda has always lived in touch with nature. With the ocean, mountains, and forest as a backdrop, a love of this natural beauty flamed her passion to paint. Encouraged by family and those who enjoy her work, Lynda's life-long dream of having a career as a painter became a reality in 1998.

A self taught artist, Lynda paints primarily in acrylic and mixed media. Her images project true realism, a style admired by many art lovers today. Her reference material is a combination of her own photography, outdoor sketches, and many bits and pieces collected from nature.

Many of the subjects are based on the local wildlife and scenery in Campbell River on Vancouver Island, BC. If you get a chance to get out that way, it is definitely a wonderful experience!
